EXP 2: Week 2: Axometric Combinations

EXP 2: Week 1 : Evolution of Alisa Andrasek Monument and Using Artisan Tool

Because of the simplcity of the first design I have decided to make changes to make it more interesting

Using Artisan Tool

EXP 2: Week 1: Axometrics In Lumion

My decision to choose which concept to develop were of Concept 5 of Alisa Andrasek being "Network of patterns creates homogenous form" and Concept 3 of Frei Otto being "Nature has ready designs".

Alisa Andrasek: Network of patterns creates homogenous form
Thought Process (1):  Seeing Andrasek's work, there was a sort of a form that the repeated shapes in the design combined gave that looked like it was one thing from a distance instead of intricate small shapes. I wanted to recreate this in a geometric "mountain". so my plan is to place this on a mountain range to give contrast of nature and man-made to really incorporate it into the environment.

Frei Otto : Nature has ready designs
Thought Process (2): Seeing Otto's work, there was a sort of playfulness that attracted me. Specifically his taking influence from the shape of the arrangement of bubbles. Using this I had a strategy of creating a curvilinear monument that takes influence from the overlapping of bubbles to create interesting shape.
